Eyethorne Parish Council suggested I direct this question to you – ” I understand that there may be a “small monument” to Tilmanstone Colliery somewhere around the Pike Road Industrial Estate (Subterranean Brittannica website). I am an amateur geologist currently looking at the history of the Kent Coalfields and would love to see, and photograph, this monument. Do you know exactly where I could find it please?
