I recently completed the Miners Trail walk and while passing through Aylesham I saw a poster advertising come and learn about the Kent Coalfields 21st August to 6th September. I’ve been told the Heritage Group are organising the event, is that correct?
Its a great initiative and I’m very keen to come along at some point. I’m also keen to highlight the Miners Trail somehow, as its an amazing walk with so much history attached to it. It does however need some TLC as lots of the trail signage is now missing and some of the paths need clearing.
